Summary
UPU – PostEurop Project Improvement of Quality of Service- an Integrated Regional Approach “PostEurop Methodology”: Process Reviews and Process Assessments are carried out to support PostEurop Members that are non-IPC Members to improve the overall cross-border Quality of Service level having as main target the achievement of the end-to-end Quality of Service objective of 85% J+3.
In April 2010, UPU and PostEurop signed a “Quality of Service Process Reviews (PR) and Process Assessment (PA)” project agreement with a view to promote synergies in the activities of the UPU and PostEurop. To provide technical assistance for improving the quality of service to designated operators in several Europe and CIS countries, through the implementation of mutually agreed joint Process Review and Process Assessment activities, enhance quality of service competence and provide access to best practice experience in this area.
The Project is suggested as one of the important steps supporting the implementation of the Declaration signed between PostEurop and UPU in Bled, Slovenia, in October 2009, and it demonstrates a real commitment by the parties in their efforts to achieve synergies and make efficient use of the available resources of both organizations to support the implementation of all activities of common interest in the area of postal services quality improvement.
