European Mail Industry platform (EMIP)

The European Mail Industry platform (EMIP) is a joint initiative bringing together key stakeholders in the European mailing industry in order to stimulate growth in mail channel revenue, making mail more effective and competitive, and establishing the right perception of mail. The platform links all key stakeholders in the mail value chain, from paper producers and printers to mail delivery networks. To leverage the existing network, PostEurop heads this platform to ensure that it realises the key objective of developing a sustainable postal business.

EMIP is now, more than ever, an important, united platform to discuss all the burning issues coming from the European level that can have a serious impact on our core activities. It is also a place to ensure that positive messages are conveyed and counter the perception that our industry isn’t concerned with green initiatives by relying on appropriate arguments and reliable figures.

EMIP Key Stakeholder includes:

  1. Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI)
  2. European E-commerce and Mail Order Trade Association (EMOTA)
  3. Federation of Direct and Interactive Marketing (FEDMA)
  4. European Envelope Manufacturers’ Association (FEPE)
  5. International Confederation for Printing and Allied Industries (INTERGRAF) Paper Chain Forum
  6. Postal Users’ Group
  7. PostEurop
  8. PrintCity
  9. Print Power
  10. Two Sides
