Health and Safety Working Group

Mission Statement

Created in 2004, the Occupational Health Working Group serves primarily as a platform for exchange on technical and scientific issues related to health at work. Its key objective is to reduce negative impacts on the health of employees.

Its mission is to ensure that the positive effects of solid health management are disseminated among participants and implemented throughout PostEurop’s entire membership. Cost reductions and improved productivity and profitability are the expected consequences of this approach.

Latest activities

The development of a network of experts on health and safety issues enables a regular exchange of information on key issues for the sector’s evolution such as attendance management, workplace ergonomics, slips, trips and falls, ageing worker and diversity management. The monitoring of Non-communicable Diseases topics from UN/WHO and WEF is also an issue to be followed. Health and safety matters are of growing importance to our industry and the society.

The Health and Safety working group brings experts together promoting true dialogue, and over the years, has brought in many more new ideas for us to further explore.
